5 LAYERS OF SHOCK ABSORPTION

UAG Monarch's design is built with 5 layers that, when combined, create a synergistic mechanism for total shock absorption, including a shock-resistant core, a distinctive armored frame coated with DuPont™ Kevlar® material, a polycarbonate shear plate and an impact-resistant rubber perimeter.

PREMIUM MATERIAL

Monarch is coated with DuPont Kevlar®, a material that provides industry-leading protection. Kevlar is characterized by its ability to withstand high temperatures, and its unique structure of numerous inter-chain bonds provides extraordinary strength. KEVLAR fibers have such a tight weave that it is almost impossible to separate them. This is why KEVLAR is used in the manufacture of bulletproof vests. When a bullet or other high-velocity projectile strikes the surface of the material, its fibers stop it, absorbing and dissipating the force of the impact.
