SONOFF Orb-RBS is an intelligent wall switch designed for convenient control of blinds, curtains, and shutters. The device belongs to the Fusion series and operates based on Matter over Wi-Fi technology, ensuring wide compatibility with popular smart home platforms. This allows you to integrate it with Apple Home, Google Home, Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, or Home Assistant, all using one common standard. It only requires a Matter hub to operate – once added, you can manage blinds throughout the house from a single app.
Precise Control
Orb-RBS allows not only opening and closing the blinds but also precisely setting them to a chosen range – for example, 30% for gentle morning light or 70% in bright sunlight. With the slider available in the mobile app, you can smoothly and accurately set the position of the blind as you prefer.
Voice and Local Control
The switch operates locally, even if the internet is temporarily down. If you use a voice assistant at home, such as Alexa, Siri, or Google Assistant – you can use a single voice command to cover the blinds exactly to 60% or fully uncover them, without moving from your spot.
Automations and Schedules
Orb-RBS allows you to create simple and advanced scenes and schedules. You can set the blinds to automatically rise at 7:00 AM and close at 8:00 PM – helping to maintain a natural daily rhythm and save energy. Connecting to a door open sensor or motion sensor also allows for creating scenes that enhance privacy – the blinds can automatically close when you leave the house.
Easy and Quick Installation
Installing the switch is straightforward and possible in both 86-type boxes and standard round boxes (⌀60 mm). You can install it yourself or in a multi-module frame – horizontally or vertically – depending on the layout of the room. This way, the device not only functions practically but also looks good in any room.
