The SONOFF MINI-ZB2GS-E is a modern, dual-channel ZigBee 3.0 wall switch designed for stable, fast, and secure control of lighting and other electrical circuits. It allows for independent control of two loads, acts as a ZigBee router to enhance the mesh network, offers a detached relay mode, supports scenes, schedules, voice control, and integration with popular smart home platforms – all in an elegant, minimalist design for flush mounting.

The switch uses the ZigBee 3.0 protocol (IEEE 802.15.4), providing low latency and high reliability of operation. Importantly, the device functions as a ZigBee Router, which strengthens and extends the range of the mesh network in the home. The use of a ceramic antenna and the enhanced signal mode (Enhanced / Turbo Mode) additionally improves connection stability, resulting in more reliable operation of the entire smart home system – especially in larger apartments and houses. Moreover, the dual-channel design allows for controlling two circuits from a single point, e.g., a ceiling lamp and table lighting or two light zones in one room. This solution means fewer switches on the wall, a cohesive look, and greater convenience in everyday use – both for manual control and from the app. Each channel can be configured independently – including within automations and scenes.
Detach Relay Mode – perfect for smart bulbs
The function of the disconnected relay means that the physical button does not cut off the power supply but merely sends a control command. As a result, smart bulbs do not lose their connection to the network and do not go offline when the wall switch is used. Additionally, it is possible to use ZigBee Binding, which allows for direct linking of the button with another ZigBee device – without the involvement of the cloud, ensuring an immediate response even during temporary internet outages.
Scenes, schedules, and automations
The MINI-ZB2GS-E allows for the creation of smart scenes – for example, automatic lighting activation upon motion detection or delayed activation after power is restored. The user can specify the device's behavior upon power restoration (Power-On State), including setting a delay for the light to turn on, which prevents accidental activation after a power outage. Schedules and timers enable the lighting to be adjusted to the daily rhythm of the household, enhancing comfort and a sense of security.
Wide compatibility with smart home platforms.
The device works with the eWeLink app and with Home Assistant (ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT), offering extensive configuration options for more advanced users. It can be used with many ZigBee hubs, m.in. ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro, iHost, and ZigBee dongles (ZBDongle-P/E, Dongle Plus MG24, Dongle Lite MG21). It also supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Integration with Apple Home is only possible through the Matter Bridge – it requires a compatible Matter gateway and the appropriate environment (e.g. eWeLink CUBE).

The housing made of fire-resistant PC material, with protections against overvoltage and overheating, as well as a long-lasting relay (up to 100,000 cycles), make the switch suitable for intensive daily use. CE and RoHS certifications confirm the high quality of workmanship. The switch fits standard 86-type mounting boxes and European round boxes (Ø60 mm). Configuration takes place in a few steps in the eWeLink app – a compatible ZigBee hub is required for operation, enabling communication between the device and the smart home system.
