To create the Presidio Grip, Speck utilized its latest IMPACTIUM™ Shock Barrier technology, which protects the phone from damage during drops. This is all thanks to two layers: an outer layer that disperses impact force and an inner IMPACTIUM™ layer that absorbs shocks. According to tests conducted, the case withstands falls from a height of up to 3 meters. Furthermore, Speck has patented a display protection system in its cases that minimizes the risk of damage to the phone when dropped screen down.
