The design of the UAG Monarch is built with 5 layers that, when combined, create a synergistic mechanism for total shock absorption

1. Hard shell: the outer shell absorbs the force of the impact, blocking penetration into the deeper layers of the case
2. Premium grain leather: Sturdy leather incorporated into the design of the case for durability and long life
3. Polycarbonate plate: This part gives rigidity to all other layers
4. Metal parts: Metal screws connect and secure all layers of the case
5. Impact-resistant rubber: Flexible TPU rubber provides cushioning and minimizes shocks
